Library orientation

With the help of our fabulous library staff, we all know how to make use of the library. Showing our persistence and independence to develop our reading will be important this year - especially for the Year 8's to be ready for college.  Everyone should be reading at least 20 minutes a night. Find a bookworm if you need ideas, or take a friend to the library and talk to Clare or Sian.  Remember, you are welcome to borrow any of Ms H's books too.

Athletics Day 2015

Athletics Day 2015 was a blast! Room 12 is full of superstars! We have some 'athletics geeks' but there was no one in Room 12 who wasn't giving it their best shot! Jemma won the vortex and was the only girl in her year group to throw more than 28 metres and she threw a whopping 32 metres! Barker won

800m and 1500m sprints. 

The weather was amazing, (we couldn't have asked for better weather.) We were all out there supporting our houses. TONGA, RAKI ,URU and RAWHITI!We trained hard and the results showed.

Welcome To Room 12

How do you describe Room 12? It's hard to, I've got to be honest. In the last week or so we have had shy year 7's that already aren't really shy any more. Maybe it was the Year 8 Role Models... or was it that they just needed to warm up to Raroa before they came out of their shell? We've been busy bees here in  Room 12. We've been making friends, training for athletics, doing tests, DPE, Some artwork that the parents will see when they come to meet Miss Herbert (Room 12's wonderful teacher!) A few quick things about our class. We're committed, team players, respectful and an overall good class. There are many other qualities to our class that we haven't yet learnt but time will tell as we see how much we can learn about each and every one in our class and the things you didn't know even about yourself.
