Today we talked about the fact that behaviour is learnt - and, as a result, must be taught.
We are questioning what the purpose of a consequence is. Is it to punish? Is it to make 'wrongs' right? Is it to change behaviour?
Have a think about scenarios that happen and whether this flow chart will help us resolve them.
Road blocks (things that make us stop and think) could be:
- Why does it take more take?
- Is it worth the extra time it takes?
- Can we change behaviours without developing empathy?
What tool can we use to test this model?
